  • The Olympic Museum is well worth a visit. A short walk from lakeside hotels, the Museum is perched on a small hill overlooking the lake. The first exhibits go over the history of the ancient Olympics ...  more »

  • It was really, really well done. Interactive, tons of memorabilia. More stories and information than you could do in one visit if you have high interest. While I watched most Olympics as a child, I am...  more »

  • This is one of the nicest museums I've ever been to. Interactive and modern exhibits make the entrance fee worth every penny. Give yourself 2-3 hours for this museum, easily. Lots of opportunities to rest and sit, watch fun historic videos, and learn new things. Just don't drink anything while you're in because there is no bathroom in the museum itself, only on the entrance and exit.
  • A good place to visit if you are into sports and like Olympics. By coming into the The Olympics Museum you will learn more about the history of Olympics. The different sports that were on competition. You start on Ground level and walk up to second floor and going around each floor, looking at photographs and also the attires, shoes, sports materials use by the athletes. The story or history of Olympics is briefly explain. But you can spend more time here and learn more. I suggest coming here with more free time so you can take advantage of no time pressure and really enjoy and learn. 🇱🇰
  • The Olympic Museum was terrific. We took 3 kids (all under 12 and over 5) and they loved it. There are enough interactive things for them to touch and do to keep them entertained and the way the history and information is blended into the exhibits is excellent - from the high jump world record bar you walk under on the way in, to the medals and outfits to see.
  • Really interesting museum, with a lot of interactive activities, such as games and sometimes sports you can try. Perfect for all ages. The park is beautiful and worth it, even without a visit to the museum.
  • This has got to be the most liveliest, energetic and thrilling museums there is. We loved our visit here and spent more than 3 hours here. The location is also perfect, opposite the beautiful Lake Geneva. The museum is split into 3 levels showcasing the origin of the Games, it's revival in modern times and the journey undertaken till it's present form today. There are so many fascinating facts and ideas that you'll not be bored for the shortest while. Even the kids did not complain- they enjoyed learning and playing the interactive games. For example, it was thrilling for me to learn that the Olympic torch is relayed from the ancient city of Hera in Greece to the host city by thousands of runners before the beginning of every Games and the route taken is never ever the shortest! This starts months in advance. I saw a video where the team was riding on a sled in the Arctic! Goosebumps!! Salute to these heroes! My favourite part was the "Olympic Spirit". It's back breaking work that has gone into the conception, management and upholding of the basic fundamental values and to ensure equality, fair play, inclusiveness in the Games. The motto is simple, yet mighty in its ethos. Inclusiveness and excellence in sport over one-upmanship and victory over others.  The museum enthralls with over 7000 AV shots and slides. I'd highly recommend.
