  • A beautiful setting by the Lake for this modern Museum. The exhibition is well structured starting from antiquity until the recent Olympics. The interactive part towards the end is rather amusing.

  • Great fun for family. I didn't even pay to go into the museum galleries (lack of time), just hung out around atrium and gift shop, strolled outside in the gardens, looked at the torch flame and architecture, ran the track and compared my time against Bolt's... Very lovely. Exterior areas are relatively bike friendly; grab a bike from Lausanne bike borrowing stands (one right near the museum on the street below) and have some fun in the city!
  • Great place to spend 2-3 hours during the weekend. The museum hosts several collections, projections, games. The first collection focuses on the history of modern Olympic games and the involvement of Pierre de Coubertin in founding the Olympic committee. The other exhibitions focus actually on games, past winners at the Olympics, and on sporting equipment. There is also a playground where both children and adults can relax and have some fun. The museum has also a nice restaurant. The view from the terrace is excellent. Highly recommended.
  • Very well organized, you will experience the entire history of the Olympic Games with plenty of memorabilia and interactive games. Ideal for children from 8 to 16. Unforgettable view on the Leman lake.
  • It was my second time there; theh have renovated the place (but some parts seem still closed). the museum is interesting and contains a lot of audio visual material. if you dont want to pay the expensive entrance ticket, just visit the garden at tge entrance. it is worthwile.
  • A great place to visit if you are interested in sports. The museum is really well designed a has a great presentation layout. not expensive at all. It also has a few interactive displays that children can play with.
