  • A stunning manor house overlooking the city in spacious wooded grounds. Good restaurant near the entrance (L'Esquisse) - best to book if you want lunch.  more »
  • Impressionist landscapes inside as outside the Foundation also. Flowers and clouds also. Beautiful and rich exhibition of the collection Bührle: Pissarro, Manet, Degas, Sisley, Monet, Renoir, Cézanne, Gauguin and Van Gogh. But as Hals, Ingres, Corot, Courbet, Fantin-Latour or Delacroix...

  • The admission is 19CHF per person and it includes the audio guide too. Many of the museums here charge about 5CHF/EUROS at least so it is very reasonable and you have self-guide tours. And at the back of the museum, there is a beautiful garden with a lake view. There were people just came for a picnic and cycling.
  • Good place to visit if you like trailing and climbing
  • Nice garden park and Art expos.
  • Well enough. Rather conventional exhibitions. The scenography is not very popular. Pleasant setting, a bit far from the city center. I found the supervisory staff a little too far, as if the visitor had a priori the malicious intentions from the works. I was also embarrassed by the marks on the ground indicating a distance compared to the latter; It is a way to impose the visitor a relationship to art that is unpleasant to me.

  • Home warm quiet and restful and adapted for wheelchair apart from a few rooms or thresholds are a little more raise but staff is very available and ready to help you, only the beautiful garden is a little less suitable because it is little stones (gravel) and so not easy to roll over, the restaurant and also great and the food is hearty rap port and service no complaints , result wonderful day with the Sun and the heat. congratulations to the team for this superb exhibition. Wholeheartedly thank you

Where to stay in Lausanne

Elegant Lausanne is home to many luxury hotels for those looking to indulge. There is also a great number of mid-range options, a happy compromise compared to some of the pricey four-star accommodation. You'll also find plenty of guesthouses and bed and breakfasts in the area, though they are slightly removed from the idyllic lakefront. Hostels in the city are few and far between, so come prepared with a flexible budget.
