  • I did not know what to expect when I want to see this Museum. To my surprise, it touched me on many ways. I love the real art that comes from hart and not worrying about people making comments on it! ...  more »
  • This is not your classic art museum but rather a fringe exhibition which is thought provoking and moving. It is a personal journey for each person whose work is exhibited and we found it fascinating. ...  more »
  • A very interesting exhibition of the works of the people who never planned to be an artist. The stories... tragic, crazy, magical... Plus professional preparation of the exhibition.  more »

  • Simply speechless! Beautiful, mesmerizing you name it! The art works are sublime! A must when visiting Lausanne and the region! It's my favorite museum in the world! You can spend hours upon hours!
  • I don't agree with the concept of Art Brut, but if you do this is the right place to visit in Lausanne. The museum location is beautiful.
  • Amazing place, highly recommended for all art's lovers. Unfortunately taking photos not permitted.
  • A very unique and intriguing experience. Art made by society's outcasts (suffering from Down syndrome or schizophrenia, often locked away in asylums) is very different than the art we are used to see. There is no regard for what the others will think, and no self-censorship in areas like sexuality. Reading the personal stories of all the different authors was extremely interesting. Save around 2.5 - 3 hours for a full tour. I came two hours before closing and ran out of time.
  • This is the most interesting museum in Lausanne (and probably within a 100 mile radius). Thom Yorke paid a visit when Radiohead played nearby and I am pretty confident that his visit served as the inspiration for their Weird Fishes video (I could be wrong).
