  • Butterflies, nocturnal animals, special mention for the Armadillo can't often see up close. The place is interesting and enjoyable. The staff is friendly. However, the entry price is prohibitive. Furthermore we must still add 4.00 for parking (and isn't that far away from everything... not so much else alternative if the next train where you came from). You would think that at 18 adults and 9 the child... the car could be allowed for free as is not the infrastructure of the parking which costs... Even the ketchup with the fries is paying... Damage

  • At CHF 18.-/ person in a place down as Kerzers we'd be right in thinking that the parking is free... but no, it does still cost CHF 4 - to leave his car in a field... The Papillonrama itself is interesting, walking in the middle of very active butterflies is a good/surprising experience. The Nocturama... is equivalent to walking on a mountain road of night light boundless... no doubt that animals see you well, but the reverse is far from clear. Finally the last part was no interest. Sorry we did not appreciate.

  • J went to the primary school many years ago and that m was not pleased. But the j was very amazed and we really enjoyed our visit. We were able to feed the fish and bats. The healer was super nice and we explained many things. Really a great time! Unfortunately the zoo was nearly empty and we n unable to approach the donkeys, goats and others... maybe because of the cold.

  • Interesting place to see different wild life. Inside the domes it's really hot and humid. There are three of them and they are the main attraction. There is plenty parking space from what I saw. There's a place where you can eat inside but I didn't try it. Outside you can find a sort of peting zoo with more common animals. Personally I thought the papiliorama was the most enjoyable section. A highlight was being able to see butterflies coming out of their cocoons and it's just nice to see so many butterflies flying around (unless you don't like them of course).
  • Fantastic zoological garden of three different climate and eco systems. First the butterflies, which are nice by themselves. But even better is the night pavilion, where bats are constantly circling between their caves and the centrality located food stations. It's a great experience and you will learn that the bat's echolocating system is not perfect when they occasionally confusedly crash into you. This dark atmosphere is completed by slow moving, monkey like creatures crawling atop the central island's trees. The final pavilion with the jungle is great because of the humid climate and the high altitude bridge spanning across huge tropical plants.
  • Not very big, you can get through the 3 sections in a couple of hours. But a little different from the typical zoo. A good stop if you happen to be passing.
  • Varied but somehow could be better (didn't see anything in the nocturama, and not much in the jungle trek)
  • A bit small but good for a nice day out.
