  • At Papiliorama, the scenery is provided through different proposed atmospheres. The Papiliorama is a large dome with a tropical vegetation and exotic butterflies; a small path to stroll, the eye open to the natural beauties that are offered. Next, the Nocturama allows a night walk in animals that have a nocturnal activity: bats, night monkeys and other lazy; a different and exciting show. The third dome recreates the tropical ambience of the Papiliorama reserve; jungle, birds and various varieties of animals. A small path and even an aerial walkway allows to play Indiana Jones by observing the occupants in their natural environment. This visit allows you to take the time to observe animals and birds that can be seen only by stopping. It is an invitation to spend some quality time to the rhythm of nature.

  • J y was already driveway with my class once teenager has t he former Marin j was well liked and which unfortunately burned, I n have never figured out how. The new papilorama n more is a sailor but Kerzers/chiètres Hill. This year, there went with a reduction received but otherwise the price of 20 CHF is a little high compared to the Swiss zoo. Especially since the prices of trains are expensive in Switzerland and drive n is not very green saw the place... The butterfly part is fine but could be a little bigger at least in length/width. Large beautiful bright blue butterflies that I have had a lot of trouble to take picture and for good reason, what is that in therefore that I have understood all the Brown butterflies with eye are indeed the same as the Blues... so when they fly they are blue and at rest with wings in the air they are brown... These are the same! There was also some ducks and other large birds among the trees, they had the air well except one that circling endlessly and for birds, I know that c is a sign as it is not well or that its environment is new if this continues, it will take to put it back the or it was before. There was a cage door open near him. There was also a small turtle (20cm) water that frightened by his teeth. Night part is forbidden for photos and it is not much. Black made cry baby. The Jungle Trek was part zero because we n saw almost nothing except a big bird who walked among visitors has the entrance and some kind of wild boars in herd or it was one only baby/small. In the other cases, we have seen no animal. There was in the background noise of drill and work and I don't know if it is for this reason that the animals were hiding? Not seen the toucan so disappointed. Even in amount at the top of the stairs with baby in arms in this heat, seen no bird :( Luckily j could see a beautiful small area butterflies. The entrance of the papilorama, there is a showcase with mini monkeys and very large birds and the next a large terrestrial turtle and biggest monkeys, it was perfect because baby could see them from her stroller even not 1 meter from him and he loved ca (unlike the jungle Trek or animals are not visible d below). In the hallway, they do a lot of advertising to buy fsc wood and give the money instead of advise people to stop any purchase of futile wood or d buy second-hand. At the time furniture were a lifetime, these days they are discarded and replaced has each change of mode and c is that what must be changed. Seen the number of children they receive, I'm not very just do not the educate ecology and the protection of the environment by consuming less, or at least. Just as their gift shop at the exit, filled d polluting and often useless objects. I also was surprised to see flat to the ceiling as well as screens in the number of brochures and maps on papers that are given to us at the entrance and which come from the wood of the trees. No need for paper plan because everything is well indicated and it isn't a huge space. C is close to the stop of train PAPILORAMA and from Kerzers, the trains go hourly (j y was midweek). The parking cost 4 CHF. Staff on-site to the entrance and the phone are friendly and answer your questions. They should ask l helped people with companies in the tax haven of the Belize to help protect forests on the spot because I doubt that a lot of wood comes from Belize in Switzerland and according to their writings, they don't protect not d other forests on Earth than that of the Belize. For an entry a CHF 10 j'll gladly go there often but for 20 CHF with no guarantee of seeing all the animals present, c is a bit pricey especially as being a Foundation, they do not pay taxes. People recommend 2-3 h maximum visit. If I n had not had an Appointment after noon even, I will be there well remained all day to cushion the price and hope to see the toucan and succeed to do large bright blue butterflies at rest, wings spread out to take a picture... There are toilets clean and free, in a dining room that I n not tested, there is a huge butterfly or l you can put his head in the middle to take a picture as if we were a butterfly, but I was shocked to see so many bottles of wine in a place that is for children at the base...

  • We had a pretty good time at the Papiliorama. There are beautiful butterflies to discover. We are just disappointed with not seeing much other animals, because they are either absent or difficult to see, especially in the part nocturama and jungle trek. For the rest, everything ok, with also a small restaurant, as well as tables to langer. Little trick: you have a small discount if you are a member TCS!

  • Interesting place to see different wild life. Inside the domes it's really hot and humid. There are three of them and they are the main attraction. There is plenty parking space from what I saw. There's a place where you can eat inside but I didn't try it. Outside you can find a sort of peting zoo with more common animals. Personally I thought the papiliorama was the most enjoyable section. A highlight was being able to see butterflies coming out of their cocoons and it's just nice to see so many butterflies flying around (unless you don't like them of course).
  • Fantastic zoological garden of three different climate and eco systems. First the butterflies, which are nice by themselves. But even better is the night pavilion, where bats are constantly circling between their caves and the centrality located food stations. It's a great experience and you will learn that the bat's echolocating system is not perfect when they occasionally confusedly crash into you. This dark atmosphere is completed by slow moving, monkey like creatures crawling atop the central island's trees. The final pavilion with the jungle is great because of the humid climate and the high altitude bridge spanning across huge tropical plants.
  • Not very big, you can get through the 3 sections in a couple of hours. But a little different from the typical zoo. A good stop if you happen to be passing.
  • Varied but somehow could be better (didn't see anything in the nocturama, and not much in the jungle trek)
  • A bit small but good for a nice day out.
