  • It was a quick getaway. Iberia flight to Zurich and and rental car on Saturday and return on Monday night. I knew just as there are two more ski areas but this time had in mind to get how many times could the legendary track of Wergen Lauberhorn. (The World Cup). The entire station is a last real skiing. In the foothills of one of the most incredible mountains, the Aiger (Swiss OGRE) feared by the most experienced climbers, not without reason since he has claimed more than 60 lives, why that some nicknamed the Everest of the Alps. The quality of the enviable snow powder. First ski day, being Sunday, many families along with most tourists had British and Oriental. Tracks, all classes, spacious, good treads (appear bathtubs on 12:00 by the influx of skiers). The gorgeous surroundings. And the red and black slopes are very funny... must be careful because grade changes, with the speed you can do considerable jumps such and made professional skiers in the World Cup. Down the Lauberhorn is the most. I have no words to define it. It may be done at speed, it has blades of moderate slope (the streif in Kitzbühel was steeper) but it shows narrowing that put to the test the expertise. In addition the tour is full (as opposed to the Kitzbühel). Super recommended. Infrastructure of the station of distinction, although the Cog Railway is lost long time, reason which we opted to take lifts and a cable that exist in Wergen (eye! It is to go there by car, this should be electric as the traditional vehicular traffic is prohibited. The ski lifts are in general quite modern. Restaurants are OK, although as that in Austria some lack dataphones to pay with cards. The prices are expensive for the quality, highlight the cheesecakes in all season. EYE!! Switzerland not belongs to the EU. as is the case in Andorra must be disconnected data! I've fallen into the trap and bufffff has been a superlative stick

  • Photos taken from the moving train reaching to Kleine Scheidegg railway station. The mountains covered with snow on the top looks awesome. Exciting to get get there and observe the natural beauty of the place. The surroundings look so pleasant with mountains covered with snow, the weather out here is fantastic.
  • The views are amazing, but we came here twice and found the organization to be very poor considering the price of admissions. I think allowing more time at the various stops on the train ride up would be helpful. I think they could afford to hire more staff to give summaries at the beginning of the train ride and who are available to answer questions -- to provide a friendlier visitor experience (the video demo/explanation is great, but is an aloof approach to the entire experience). There's a reason why some businesses keep people even when things can be automated - for the experience. While the Alps provide stunning views, the whole experience here was rather uncomfortable and draining. The workers seemed to be concerned with keeping the rules rather than providing an educational or visitor service. You see the tension between different visitors, and certain Europeans think they are superior to others. My sense is that the place is influenced by the strictness exercised by the neighboring countries north/east of Switzerland, but would benefit from the hospitality practiced by its neighboring countries from the south (i.e. France).
  • Unforgetable viwes for eiger and grindelwald under the great jungfrau
  • Love love love it anywhere in this region of Switzerland ❤️❤️❤️
  • Visited here a few years ago. Seen from Klein Scheidegg, 'Three Sisters' (Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau) are beautiful with snow on them. Highly recommended on a sunny day.
