(4.6/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
The Glasi Hergiswil is a Swiss factory that manufactures glass, located in Nidwalden, Switzerland. It was founded by the brothers Siegwart in 1817. Because of old machines and technology, the Glasi was threatened to be closed. However, due to the efforts of the community, the factory remains open and now offers visitors the opportunity to observe workers as they produce the glass. The Glasi also has a museum and is home to the first glass labyrinth in Switzerland.

  • Interesting spot with a surprising amount to see. My family enjoyed the museum tour and the labyrinth, and we really liked the znirP und nisseznirP. Unfortunately, we ran out of time before the 16:00 closing time. The factory is also located on a nice spot on the lake with a really nice playground nearby.
  • Perhaps the most famous Swiss glaziery. Beautiful and large choice of glas objects. Quite expensive
  • It was so much fun blowing the glass and seeing how the glass is being transformed into a beautiful form!!! The muséum is one of the Best I have been to! Highly recommended for the entire family! Also its just near Lake Lucerne so after visiting Lucerne, you have to visit!
