  • First we hiked up from Käserstatt to Gibel and then took the route on Muggenstutz (Zwergenweg- Dwarf hiking trail, great for children as it has activities for them along the way) from Balisalp onwards...  more »
  • Today with our 3-year old daughter the Muggestutzweg from the Mägisalp immigrated; Phew, that was an experience for small and large! It all started at the gondola in which individual cabins with Muggestutz subjects are decorated. Of course we had to then exactly one of these cabs wait...; o). The trail itself is lined with many picnic areas, playground and small houses, the right to the play animate. Everything is designed with great attention to detail and therefore not just the children. The hike down to Bidmi took then longer than the specified 2 hours, but this is not further also surprising, if one gets away the children from the "Tannzapfetröchni" or "Nutty train". Because there is still a second Muggestutzweg, we come back to all cases; Meanwhile, we linger us as long as the corresponding dwarf books.

  • This is the third time that we return to this beautiful walk. Our little girl adores you, and us, in particular self that I'm afraid of heights and I can never enjoy the walks in the mountains: with this route are sure you don't go near cliffs or difficult steps, but to enjoy the best of the mountain. Meadows, pastures, forests, waterfalls, all sandwiched by installations themed "midgets of the Woods" where the children play a world to explore, play, climb. This year we went to mid August and we swept blueberries, taken directly from the endless bushes lining the route. Board of gear up with packed lunch and a few sausages to roast in one of the many grill stations that lie along the path: the wood is offered for free and in one of the largest there is also a toilet and a handy stream to rinse hands and utensils. Required at the end of a meal, take off shoes and socks and splashing around in the water! For the kids: there is also an alternative route and parallel that you can do with stroller, although it is less beautiful as asphalt (is the same path of trotti-bike)
