  • I had previously not related to the artist. Just knew that he has received an Oscar and anything made with aliens :) His works of art to express his obsession definitely and I like that. I would imagine his works into the room. But that clammy feeling that one takes as a spectator I find almost already cousin – oddly enough. With the CH-museum pass admission is free. The experience is not for the thin-skinned (these could wait but in the adjacent Café) and photography is not permitted.

  • Nice Museum that collects the works of Giger, known to most as the creator of Alien. In the show it is of course best known film tribute to his, but there are also other works depicting the career of this artist. The museum visit in about an hour, an hour and a half seconds. There is also a small room dedicated to erotic art, so it's best not to let the children. Recommended visit!

  • Just amazing. It's really interesting to see into the mind of Geiger and more of the other work he has done. If you're a fan of the Alien films and enjoy art, this is a must! Not for children though!
  • This is not for the faint hearted. It's useful too read about the artist HR Giger before visiting, that way you get the full value of this stunning museum. The village of Gruyère is a very picturesque place. The museum is Not really for children.
  • It'a great place to admire HR Giger's art, please visit the part where seperated with curtain :)
  • Unforgettable museum presenting very controversial art of HR Griger. A must-see for every Alien saga, or just general sci-fi, fan. Taking young children along could result in couple awkward questions, though, so parents beware.
  • I wanted to go to the Giger Museum since a long time now. Gruyeres is a very nice swiss village and the museum was above my expectations. You can see some really nice and exclusive Giger pieces and also his private art collections! Totally worth it!
