  • This is a nice museum to visit if you have some spare time but I wouldn’t suggest going out of your way for this. The great part is that this is a free activity but the museum is pretty small and full...  more »
  • A great Museum for young and old, to discover all the species of animals, with lots of explanations and information. free Museum, except the days of temporary exhibitions. Cafeteria and shop are also available on-site.

  • The museum is pretty small but very well done and lots to see. A huge variety of animals on display all with excellent information provided. I'd say you'll spend an hour or so looking round in a prett...  more »

  • Very good scenographie, kids love it! Very various animals from all over the world. I recommend this to all curious of wildlife. People are as well welcome (down). ONE THING went wrong with group pass: I had free entrance for the ants exhibition because of a group ticket, but the woman at ants desk told me she wasn’t informed of this and she can’t help me. (maybe ask your chief instead of just saying you can’t help)
  • It's FREE to visit and perfect for a rainy day. It takes a couple of hours to walk around and is great for families with young children. The displays are done incredibly well, different from the other natural history museums I've been to. They're very colourful, interactive and fun. Most of the information is written in French on the information boards so keep that in mind. There's three floors with a permanent exhibition and a temporary one on the top floor which you have to pay for. They have a restaurant which serves a daily dish for 14CHF and when I went it was delicious. They also have a selection of drinks and cakes for a few CHF. To top it off, they have a resident two headed tortoise!!
  • The entry is nice, the expositions are precise and interesting(in French Italian and English), they have Braille and the thing that climbs stairs for people in a rolling-chair and it's not that expensive but they should put a little more toilets.
  • Free entrance. Nice place to visit with kids. The Museum is Switzerland's largest natural history museum. Its collections present the fascinating world of animals and minerals.
  • Very nice museum. The permanent exhibit is shown on three floors and the entrance is free. The only thing missing is an explanation of the families of animals displayed. The animals are sometimes repeated in different categories and there are few signs in English. The display cabinet have very nice light and kids can see them well too.
