  • A nice place for morning/afternoon walk. There were not as many graves as I thought, but there were several modern sculpture that I felt a bit out of place.
  • I went especially to see the Tomb where lie the remains of J.L. Borges. And also of our countryman, the composer Ginastera. A few steps from the Centre, almost their tickets go unnoticed, I think you have three neighbors cross it as crossing the Park which is. Few tombs and very representative, especially that of Borges, more if we like literature and we are Argentines.

  • Is art of a small cemetery, which we mainly arrived to visit the tomb of the great Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges. It is near the center of the city, and it is also known as the cemetery of Kings (Cimetière des Rois). Here are buried Juan Calvino, Jorge Luis Borges (735 Tomb: on the tombstone, there is an engraving in a circle with seven human figures and an epitaph in old English: "And ne forhtedon na" ["and not to fear"], taken from an epic poem of the 10th century), the psychologist Jean Piaget, the Argentine musician Alberto Ginastera and Griselidis Real (writer, painter and Geneva-based prostitute) are also buried there. Opening hours: 7 h 30 to 19 h.
