This place is totally unique. We were lucky enough to have a really hot day in April & really appreciated a knee deep paddle in what is essentially a small part of lake Geneva. Very busy but pleasant ...  more »

Always the same pleasure of enjoying the Paquis baths, the kitchen is simple, very good and cheap .the students and pensioners have a discount on meals. Large user-friendly tables are surrounded by the Lake, the view of the Cathedral is magnificent. The beach and its swans nice massage .salon. A moment of relaxation guaranteed.

  • Had a fun hot sunny day here! Be sure to bring a swimsuit, towels and your flip flops. Everything you need is here, great swimming, food and drinks. Change rooms, toilets, showers etc. It'll cost you 2 francs to enter.
  • Great as always! Eventhough there are always tons of people the people at the rest are fast, efficient and friendly but never stressed out. So the atmosphere is always great! And their plat de jour a great deal and yummy.
  • Place to not be missed in Geneva! Winter or summer time there is always something to be done there. Summer time enjoy the swimming. There are festivities like early morning music happening in summer. Winter time enjoy the great fondue in the evening. Any sunny day go there for a lunch even in a winter. The food proposed is great, with vegetarian option always. Well served, staff is nice, and you got it for your price, with foots in a water, you will not find cheaper by the lake. Love it! :)
  • A true Genevan institution where all social levels mingle. Good food at great prices. Can get really packed on a hot day.
  • Really like this place for its food and reasonable prices (given its Geneva). Go there at least once in each fondue season. And yes, the bath is also nice ...

Where to stay in Geneva

In the elegant city of Geneva, a little shuteye doesn't come cheap. A number of relatively expensive hotels surround the lakefront, a prime location for visitors here; note that these tend to fill up for conferences and trade shows, so plan accordingly. More budget-minded travelers can look into options closer to the airport, which is a quick 15-minute ride on public transport into the city. While there a very few family-owned guesthouses and hotels, there are a handful of hostels--though these too are priced pretty steep. You can also find more affordable options in the outlying cities of Annemasse and Gaillard.
