  • Very beautiful golf course with breathtaking views of the mountains. Demanding, very diverse place. The Greens were very fast - we have played right after the Omega masters there.

  • If you come to Crans, discovered the magnificent grounds, on which the International Golf Pros measure "almost automatic". Already the "trappings" is exciting, you have not even ünbedingt on the green.

  • I try to play this fantastic course at least once a year. But just played you have a great desire to change how students remember and still. Let's face it, is not an easy field and you have to really be careful if you want to take home a decent score. But the conditions of the field (this time the Greens were a bit sanded but ...) and the spectacular views of the village or the valley below, make you spend 4 wonderful hours. Those unfamiliar with this field WE SHOULD DEFINITELY GO

  • One of the best golf in the world! Amazing view on the Swiss Alps.
  • Golf Club Crans Sur-Sierre comprises of an 18-hole championship golf course that is named after the late Severiano Ballesteros (who helped redesign the course in the early 2000s) and a short 9-hole course named after its designer Jack Nicklaus. The Ballesteros Course is a beautiful and quite challenging course with narrow fairways, undulating greens, and severe activities & declivities throughout; it is a mountain course in every sense. The course is adorned by the ubiquitous Swiss sapin (fir tree) and provides the viewer with majestic views of the Swiss Alps and Le Valais. It is a must-play course of you are in the vicinity or happen to be planning a golf tour of Le Valais or Switzerland for that matter. Beware though, it can be an unjust terrain for many well struck balls. Bring a lot of patience and tenacity with you. The signature view of Le Valais is from the teebox of hole 7 and the best time to be there is early in the morning as the sun illuminates the entire valley. You don't actually need to be playing the golf course to access that view. Hikers and passerby pedestrians frequently walk by that teebox. There is a public road that leads to it. The Ballesteros course hosts an annual European PGA tour championship currently known as the Omega Swiss Championship. In the winter they convert parts of the course into skiing grounds. The Jack Nicklaus is a more casual course to play with its sub 330 yard par fours. Like the Ballesteros, it is very hilly. And the holes are tightly packed together. One errant teeshot almost always ends up in a neighboring fairway. This course is less panoramic than the Ballesteros but nonetheless pleasing to the eye and easier to play as the greens are much softer.
