(4.9/5 based on 70+ reviews on the web)
See the Matterhorn from the perfect vantage point of Gornergrat. At an elevation of 3,089 m (10,135 ft), the mountain features a sunny observation deck from which you can catch a glimpse of its much-photographed neighbor. The mountain also boasts the world's first fully electrified cog railway and hosts a high-speed modern rail line that shuffles visitors back and forth between the base and summit, which includes a restaurant, gift shops, astronomical observatory, and Europe's highest hotel. • Where to look into the 360-degree view is great! Matterhorn and Matterhorn mountains over 4000 m, of course, the Alps second tallest Monte Rosa Rosa, Gorner gletscher Gorner glacier and surrounding it is comprised. Recommended is the number one Observatory. Clean ride to the end, even a 5-minute walk is the Observatory. You can go even if mountain climbing, from children to the elderly, without problems.
