The price of between it CHF 24.00, unfortunately parking is chargeable and costs CHF 1.00 per hour. This is unfortunate because it could lower the rates a bit because the price is expensive is it we go to family. Inside Conversely it takes at least 4 visiting outside meal hours. The Museum has 3 restaurants has affordable prices and also of the picnic areas. The Museum is beautiful and consists of typical houses which are open to the public. Many demonstrations there and we learn many things. The explanations are in french, German, Italian and English. A very good Museum and as a bonus a nice view on the military airfield which allows to see many passage of the FA18.show original

I have many fond memories from touring Ballenberg as a child. Loving history as much as I do, I was fascinated by the stories that were told, the demonstrations that were made, and the overall educational quality of the experience. The different buildings are spaced out wonderfully, allowing a leisurely stroll through the property and various trails. Due to the wooded location, you almost forget what era you're in until you hear a plane fly overhead. I look forward to going back again during my next trip to Switzerland.
Beautiful houses in beautiful setting. And a free petting zoo with baby goats on top...
Lovely park to see the different types of architecture of Switzerland. They take down old houses and barns and rebuild them here.
This is a great place to visit when in the area. You can see a lot of classic Swiss farm architecture, learn how farming was done in Seitzerland and have many possibilities to see people performing it live! The kids love the playgrounds and the ride on the cart pulled by horses. Besides, it is just a beautiful area for hiking. There are restaurants with nice and simple food. The personal is friendly and helpful.
It's just down the road from me, I have managed to visit there now 4 times. Each time I've seen something different and will definitely go back there again. I will recommend this to anyone, just don't expect to see it all on your first visit 😉
