Bahnmuseum Albula Reviews
Das Museum ist sehr interessant gestaltet. Die Entstehung der Albula-Linie und anderes wird sehr schön dargestellt. Super, was hier aus einem unscheinbaren Schuppen entstanden ist. Also the bistro is very good. The food was very tasty. However, the service was slightly overwhelmed, but very nice. It had however many visitors and together with de m collecting the tickets they were personnel somewhat under endowed. Very good dining selection.
Accanto alla biglietteria si trova l'ingresso per il museo, con numerose esposizioni, e un gioco tipo caccia al tesoro per i bambini. The model under construction, partially finished is exceptional with many details that make it unique. The manufacturer is always available to answer questions and very helpful with telling anecdotes. Downstairs also a rich collection of pieces by rail, where you can find everything.
Het museum geeft een goed beeld van de aanleg en historie van de smalspoor spoorwegen in Zwitserland. Je zult zeker waardering krijgen voor de technische hoogstandjes die nodig waren bij de aanleg. You'll definitely get appreciation for the technical marvels that were needed in the construction. The only pity is that the produced model course not always in operation and the visitors than just via a video registration of a ride on this course can enjoy.
A very interesting museum but with a high entrance fee. The museum gives a very good insight to the history behind the World Heritage Railway Line as well as it's construction. It is well laid out and very detailed. Most of the descriptions are given in English as well as German too.
Small museum on the Rhaetian Railway, its history and the present. No impressive exhibition. I had seen it in 45 mins. Can better!!
Although the entrance is somewhat expensive, worth a visit both for adults and for children. Small Tip: Raiffeisen with tourist card and/or debit card and receive discounted admission... The model railroad takes shape more and more and is repeatedly extended and embellished. Much is made in delicate hand work and with great attention to detail. Whether the railway bridges connect a soldered wire brass, the trees from real pieces of wood or the shingle covering roofs of the houses. With the patience of a Saint, the bridges are or rock be served - even traces of the flowing down rain, source or dirty water look amazingly real. The Builder personally explains and reports like his work. The exhibition on the first floor is quite extensive and the knowledge around the emergence, peculiarities or accidents of the railway is conveyed in a variety of ways. Who cares about the history and origin of the Albula railway would be wise to take more time. Bottom line: Worth a visit in any case for young and old!
Anything you want to know about the RhB.
Very interesting exhibition of interactive elements. Here, you can spend a day very well with less weather. Also the offer of the simulated cab ride of the RhB crocodile locomotive 407 is exciting.
