  • The ruins of a castle from the 14th century show stories past... but nothing amazing in history. However the place is very beautiful, located about 730 m above sea level and offering breathtaking views of the region and extending very far when the weather. The peak picnic places are many just above the edge of the forest, possibility to barbecue or to eat underneath at the farm Inn. The forest nearby offers many hiking paths, which are super well maintained as in the rest of the region of Basel land.

  • Were in the afternoon under the week there, of course, was there no man. Parking at the Landgasthof, then 15 min walk to the ruins. Very nice view. Has dropped her much better by the feeling me as Habsburg.

  • The ruin was renovated a few years ago. Unfortunately, stones are loose here and there again, the pioneer species would have to be removed once again do not jeopardize the stability of the ruins. On the spiral staircase, were sand and small stones and made the rising somewhat slippery. Great views of the Black Forest and in the Jura.
