  • Statues, murals well defined items of interest in the lobby open to all . Exterior photo worthy. Square outside home to market with interesting vendors  more »
  • The very beautiful town hall is an open, sunny square in the city centre. This is very rare in the city centre of Basel. There are very good shopping facilities, but the city long time not the charm such as Bern or Zurich. Nice Street cafés are missing almost completely.

  • Beutiful place . At night You can get in to the central space
  • This is a stunning building, had I knew that it is accessible for the public for free I would have went in.
  • Beautiful town hall. You can walk inside and take a look for free. For being over 500 years old, this building is in great condition. The statues on outside are of the king and queen who paid for the buildings and in the middle was Mary holding baby Jesus but later changed to a lady holding a sword after the Reformation
  • Beautiful red tinted Townhall building kept shining and clean !
  • One of the most beautiful buildings in Europe (in my opinion). It is awe inspiring to know how old this building is!! Just go see it when you're in Basel
