Admire the colorful motifs on the facade of the bright red Rathaus. City hall since the 14th century, this 500-year-old building features illustrations of people and events marking the city's eventful past. Walk the courtyard in front of the building to see more paintings of the past, and enjoy the seasonal farmer's market. Note that entry into the building itself is limited to specific hours, so check the website for hours and updated tour schedules prior to your visit.
