  • My husband and I love exploring international cuisine and this place has almost anything you can think of. We went here twice (for lunch) during a 3 night stay in Basel. Had a platter from the Argenti...  more »

  • Excellent place to pop in for lunch or dinner. Many different vendors under one hall with many different types of food. Lovely areas to sit and relax while having a coffee and cake too.
  • Clean, cheap good ethnic food. Welcoming and warm. Family friendly. Extremely positive atmosphere. Pretty infrastructure. Very recommended.
  • Interesting concept of a great hall with a variety of food stalls. Other cities have similar concepts for example Rotterdam but better executed. It seems somewhat unfinished...
  • I love the concept with a lot of different eateries from all over the world. One of my favorite places for lunch. It's self service and loud, but great atmosphere under the big dome.
  • An old market hall renovated for trendier times. Upstairs contains 20-30 pop-up style restaurants, additionally cafes, ice cream shops, and other small shops. Common seating under a roomy, echoing dome. Restaurants are open for lunch, also evenings at least at the end of the week. This is the place to go for a spicy exotic lunch in Basel. Downstairs has a hiking/sports shop and electronics shop.
