  • Basel's old town is a great place for hiking. Walkabout strongly help installed throughout the city for which pointers tourist will find exactly the correct way. You should definitely visit the Basel Cathedral, market square and the Town Hall (City Hall courtyard, you can log in, it is quite interesting). The entire Center can be bypassed for 2-3 hours (not counting the actual time exploring the sights). Summary: it is recommended to visit.

  • Walking through the old town, around every corner of new shops and insights, this is Basel. Sit in outdoor cafes and the Green trams pass, stroll down to the Rhine or to the Cathedral, or visit one of the many restaurants, Basel offers so much more manageable distance.
