  • Idyllic location, nice for visits with family or friends. Shows the manufacturing process of the Swiss Emmental, with different methods relating to times of preparation of the cheese. Try the cheese fondue at the end of the visit: the site has a typical restaurant, very tasty. Good tip to visit with children: a playground with toys and attract the attention of small cords.

  • During our visit of the cheese dairy, we started the day with a hearty breakfast in the restaurant. Good idea with the "sizes" of breakfast, so everyone can order what he likes. The products originate mainly from the own dairy and the Beck in the village. Quality: very good! The really small cheese factory shows the complete production in a confined space. Very interesting and entertaining. Outdoors, there is also the opportunity to see "live" production that traditionally takes place and formerly was. A large, well landscaped playground offers something even the little ones. All in all a great trip in a very nice area.

  • Emmental or Jemmentaler is a traditional Swiss cheese which paired with the equally famous Grjujerom make a couple in a dish fondue. Its name this cheese got exactly thank place, where he began producing: German "emmen" means "belonging to the r. Emma", "tal"-"Valley". This is a wonderful place! We are very fortunate, because we visited there in August: the weather was amazing. Cheese factory is located in a fairly remote location, so it is difficult to reach without a car. In General, yet Switzerland neprisposoblennaja country for tourists. Perhaps there are pluses. For example, there is a large number of people who take pictures of "everyone and everything", as well as large queues on a relatively small space. Cheese production is concentrated in the new building, but you can easily visit the old cheese factory and learn about the history of the manufacture of cheese, cow, and in "zapamjatnye" times. Tastings every half-hour, during which talk about the process of making and storing cheese .... in German. All domestic premises are closed, but are behind glass so that the work of the factory, you can easily watch. On site there is also a café with a terrace, a restaurant, a playground and a gift shop. We gladly ate several meals in the Café; I want to tell you that it is not necessary to order a lot, because Emmental'-enough fat cheese and I with all the stomach bezdonnosti ate a hot sandwich with cheese. While "nebjudzhetnosti" Switzerland it was, perhaps, the most budget our lunch since for 4 meals with drinks we paid 35 ₣ (Swiss francs). This place is fun for children, because there are a lot of animals, and Red cat will not leave anyone indifferent.

  • Excellent place to visit with children to learn about cheese production. Live demonstration of cheese production. Cheese tasting with individual guide. All to the small details through the years back of great experience. Very nice place to spend your time while in Switzerland. Highly recommended.
  • A lot of things can be seen for free. For a small charge you can make your own cheese or go on a guided tours. Check the times for the tours or to see interesting stages in the cheese making process on their website.
  • Great place to pick a cheese and see how it's made.
  • Very nice cheese factory with an informative presentation. The shop is good, don't forget the ice creams!
  • Such a beautiful location for a cheese factory
