  • I must admit I was not a great Astrid Lindgren "Fan" in advance, knew and liked their stories about Pippi Langstrumpf but like most. For me it but was out of the question to look at Astrid Lindgren Näs, if one because there is! Yes finally it can't hurt... ;) And what can I say? I came admirers out as Astrid Lindgren. What a great woman! :) My advice is to take your time! You can learn sooo much about Astrid Lindgren and her life, their views and attitudes towards the world, when you take the time for the exhibitions and films, as well as exploring the gardens! In some places of the exhibition I was sooo stirred as has already been long no longer and start actually to think about so many things and to philosophize and subsequently understand their children's stories so much better. There is so much to discover, if you walk along with open eyes and ears through this wonderful system. It is the entry well worth, no matter whether old or young! We have spent a whole afternoon here (since you can also relax in the gardens) and went just before closing (somewhat wistfully, and deeply impressed). An absolute must on any southern Sweden travel!

  • "Astrid Lindgrens of Näs" is an attempt to get Astrid Lindgren and her family, where she grew up a little bit of the places. The Swedish Red House where she was born, the Yellow House that her family of 13 moved to when she was 13, a small farming, the parsonage - the "moved here around" and research in to Astrid Lindgreen, as well as the actual Museum with the connected restaurant (with a very delicious organic cuisine). Come by car on our southern Sweden tour and were glad that there's a nice parking lot on the grounds directly on the road, costs nothing. First, we are in the Museum, where each a small device with headphones in the hand pushing us the friendly ladies. In the device, a laser is built with it can shine on Singalflächen at the individual stations and then comes the corresponding text in several languages on the headphones. This can go around pretty freely and so divide up the tempo as you like. We found the exhibition both very touching and we learned much that we didn't already know. For example, there are great pictures by Astrid with Ronja and Birk during filming to Ronja the robber's daughter, Astrid as a young mother,... the exhibition is both children and adults meet. Afterwards we were tasty food in the connected restaurant. Refined organic food with a twist, as it would have liked Astrid, fancy, tasty and worth its price. All very modern, clean and all who work there were very very friendly! Then we visited the lemonade tree and walked around in the garden and viewed all alone about us, before we continue driving after katthult there are around us the Court of the shooting of Michel (Emil's) to see. In some reviews I read "too expensive", "buy a book". I can not understand absolutely that and I would have bitten me in the A..., when we here do not be down. In Sweden, nothing is really cheap for Germans - but but rather, the question is: if I leave here, I want to see what and what you get here is really worth the money and taking memories back home that you simply can't pay with. Therefore: If you are already near you should look at this in any case - it somewhat happier coming out - guaranteed!
