Var här med jobbet för en guidning. Missade tyvärr en del av guidningen men det jag var med på var riktigt bra. Jag skulle vilja komma tillbaka med familjen. Ute runt kyrkan var en utställning med lek... more »

Was here for work, for a guided tour. Unfortunately missed part of the tour but I was on was really good. I would like to come back with the family. Out around the Church was an exhibit with games that the nobility had during that time. There were a couple of families with children who tested the different plays and looked really funny.

Uraniborg, även Uranienborg, var ett kombinerat slott och observatorium uppfört på ön Ven i Öresund av Tycho Brahe 1576, då han av danska staten fått ön i förläning. I observatoriet fanns den tidens bästa uppsättning instrument.Borgen omgavs av en jordvall som bildade en kvadrat med sidor på 94 meter, med hörnen noggrant lagda efter väderstrecken. I östra och västra hörnen över portgångarna inrättades rum för vakthundar, och i norra och södra hörnen låg rum för tjänstefolk och ett tryckeri. Mitt på varje vallsida fanns en bastionliknande halvcirkelformig utvidgning, och längs vallens sidor låg fruktträdgården. I mitten av fyrkanten låg slottet omgivet av ett cirkelrunt staket.

Uraniborg, even Uranienborg, was a combined Castle and Observatory built on the island of Ven in the sound of Tycho Brahe 1576, when he by the Danish State received the island as a fief. In the Observatory were the best set of instruments. The castle was surrounded by an earthwork that formed a square with sides of 94 metres, with the corners carefully placed after the cardinal points. In the East and West corners of the port resources established area for guard dogs, and in the North and South corners low rooms for servants and a printing service. In the middle of every vallsida, there was a bastionliknande halvcirkelformig expansion, and along vallens pages low orchard. In the middle of the square lay the Castle surrounded by a circle around the fence.
