  • A very good museum where you can follow the history of Bohuslän and Uddevalla. Fun for both adults and children. A good deal in the entrance area with fun stuff for children and adults.

  • As always, nice Christmas show with different crafts. The visit ended with very good food at the Museum!

  • Free admission in a positive light. The word love is so important, interesting with legends and history and love stories. There was much information both with still images, sounds, and movies. One of the substances contained fit most visitors.

  • Kind of boring, uninspired exhibits. It has stayed the same for ages, and maybe that is a good thing - after all, museums are for preserving what has been. And I'm not saying that it should display expensive exhibits and buy fine arts. Rather, I think the money should go towards updating the museum to a modern state. Not the old person kind of modern, and not the arts student kind of modern. No. The pleasant kind of modern, like the Oslo Opera House or Google's material design. Now, it just feels very soggy, inconsistent and not very welcoming at all. That said, you should definitely visit the kissing bench at the second floor.
  • Fantastic regional meuseum. Admission is free. Has a variety of exhibits including displays of early and modern history of the area. Also galleries with the work of local artists. Don't miss the collection of small boats (easy to miss at the back of the museum) and the beautifully hand-carved models of the types of fish found locally. After walking two floors of exhibits, have a coffee and snack at the cafe, which looks out over the Bavean river.
  • Quite a big and free musuem about the history of the town. Sadly only 10 to 20 percent of all the text is also available in English.
  • Perfect place to kill some hours at, and a nice restaurant also 👍
  • Priceworthy (it was free)
