The collection is relatively small and focused, surprisingly, in the history of media battleships in Sweden. There are some foreign vehicles not used by the Swedish armed FORCES in exposure, but it is clear that the objective of this museum is to preserve the history of battleships in Sweden means. Undoubtedly meets the expectations, with an excellent collection that goes from the first car of 1921 Swedish match to the Leopard 2A6 currently in use, passing by an excellent selection of national or manufactured designs under license, including icons such as the Stridsvagn 103 or the Bandkanon 1 with your automatic charger. The unique exhibition pieces include a Renault NC-27, bought for testing, and mentioned m/21 of German origin, unique pieces in the world.show original

There is also an open-air museum that shows it was the soldier's life, and on the second floor a museum of Södermanland Regiment. The exhibited vehicles ranges from German fertile fm/21, the first tank in Sweden, to the State-of-the-art Leopard 2. There is a prototype gun 1 and of course the unique Tank S. Both were weapons which put fear into the hearts of the powers during the cold war was considering an invasion of Sweden. There are also Per Albin bus, the articulated bandvagn 202 and, of course, a "Sow", Volvo's off-road bumper car. In the Museum's collection is also an American Sherman and a Russian T-34 but unfortunately no German Tiger or Panther (in contrast, a Hetzer). Very modern, very to see and read and some structured environments but fairly thin with visitors on a Friday at the beginning of september. However, to complain about the Arsenalens website, slow, with few pictures and with little information on exhibited material, it stops a 5.show original
