We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and our guide was outstanding! (I'm sorry I can't remember her name but she was fantastic and has worked at the stables for a long time). It was so lovely to be able to ...  more »

This tour was a bit expensive, but I really liked going through the stables, listening to the history, seeing the different royal coaches, cars. Seeing the King's horses.  more »

One of the most vivid impressions from our next trip to Stockholm! This museum is not a massively visited (and for good reason!), and even more rarely there are Russian tourists. The guide was quite surprised and poradovan our interest:) Tours are held at scheduled times on certain days or at certain hours, therefore it is necessary to accurately plan the time and date of your visit. Summer long time horses are grazing, so before you visit better check the information on the site. I bought the tickets at the entrance show the printout. It should be coming on time, otherwise all the chances do not get inside the building: the gates are closed. Tours take place in Swedish or English. We have gathered a small group of 8 people, guide led story in Swedish, but at my request, kindly answered questions in English. Most vivid emotions caused, of course, communicating with horses! Very impressed by the exhibition of harness, carriage parts, trim, as well as a pleasant internal garden. I would definitely recommend schedule visiting of this Museum!

Where to stay in Stockholm

Glitzy Stockholm provides an abundance of high-end four-star hotels and international chains that come with a reputation of being pricey and feature a distinguished Scandinavian design. You can save yourself a little money by searching out the discounts these hotels often offer. If you're looking for something more affordable, consider the medium-priced hotels north of the Old Town. The least-expensive options lie near Central Station. Since offerings tend to be more affordable the farther you go from the city center, you'll serve yourself well to find a spot near public transport. Hostels in the city tend to fill up fast, so book online in advance. Many of hotels offer the
