  • I visited this museum with my wife and daughter, music student at the Conservatory, convinced to visit a museum that illustrated in 360 degrees the world of music, dance and theatre. Actually it's more of a structure suitable for families with small children, as the Museum is packed with multimedia equipment, screens and small rehearsal rooms, where the children enjoy tremendously. The top floor of the building, dedicated to music, it's a collection of Sonic games and some instrument. Definitely a structure not suited to those looking for information and news on musical instruments and their history and development over time, indeed quite boring for adults.

  • Performing Arts Museum offers many impressions and leaves much to the visitor to interact with the instruments, dance and theatre. Pretty fun if you're in the mood. I felt, however, parts of the exhibition just as incomprehensible as a separate part of a scene in a Bergman film set on repeat ... It was not easy to put together what was the message of the exhibition, where the material was scattered between a training disc "get fit with Birgitta" (Haga Princess) to puppetry in best Staffan Westerberg style and history of hagström's musical instruments from Älvdalen.

  • The Museum was much better before the renovation, now there was way too much focus on contemporary performing arts. It was difficult to understand what they wanted to convey and we did not like at all that it would interact with almost every part in the exhibition. We were very disappointed!

  • Just went to the bar in the bottom of the building. Has outdoor beer garded. Just fabulous way of relaxing on a Sunday afternoon in Stockholm....
