  • This church was built back in the 1500 century. Many have been involved including Carl Fredrik Adelcrantz, Carl Hårleman. The tower is 116 meters high and it makes St Clara Church of Sweden's and Scandinavia's second tallest Church after the Uppsala Cathedral. Built in brick. Spire of wrought iron with a gilded rooster. Some interior details-altarpiece by Jonas Hoffman 1766, baptismal font by Thor Thorén, at the altar there are two kneeling Angels from 1904 after plaster original of Johan Tobias Sergel. In the cemetery surrounding the Church are, among other things, C M Bellman, Anna Maria Lenngren and Kajsa Warg. Recommend a visit.

  • Very centrally located in Stockholm near the Central station is a St. Clara Church. A large beautiful church in red big monks or brick and a very high tower with a Spire and several small spires around the center. When the bells can be heard clearly and Nice. On their website it says that the Church is open, it does not completely, we unfortunately met a locked Church which, though in smaller periods are open. The Church is a little high at a smaller Church space/cemetery where there are a few old gravestones and it does not appear to be in use anymore. Worth a visit even if it is only a walk around. A striking building in the cityscape.

  • Not so exciting churches. Rebuilt and destroyed during the late 1800 's and now torn. The cemetery is almost förslummad with junkies both here and there.
