Categories: Gardens, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.5/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web
Situated just west of the Rosendal Palace, Rosendals Garden serves as a public space that is famous for its lovely gardens as well as its shop, cafe, and bakery. Swedish King Karl XIV Johan developed this area into an English park in the 19th century; it was opened to visitors with the goal of educating the public about the history of agriculture and gardening. Today you can walk along paths in the tranquil European gardens, including the fruit, rose, and wine gardens. Stop in to the site's popular gardening and gift shop or pull up a seat at the cafe or bakery to sample some renowned baked goods. The cafe serves up food and wines made from plants grown in the gardens. See Rosendals Garden and all Stockholm has to offer by arranging your trip with our Stockholm vacation route planner.

  • A wonderful green oasis that certainly should be visited a day with nice weather. Nice to be able to sit out in the Apple Orchard or inside the glass house eating home baking.
