  • If you live vicariously through Rick Steves, then all major European cities include a de rigeur must-stop at their open markets full of fresh produce and flowers. At least that's how he trained me eve...  more »
  • To this market, I came from the street Drottninggatan: it is only one block from the shopping street and occupies the whole area along the street Kungsgatan. I came here on an overcast day in late March, on a grey background surrounding the city street counters looked juicy and picturesque. Traders sold here, berries, vegetables, fruits and flowers. Box of strawberries cost order 20 SEK. It turned out that the market still continues and indoors with a Hotorgshallen (glass building in the butt area). There you can eat, there are a variety of power point predominantly with the international street food kebab type. On Sunday's indoor market is not working and on playgrounds reigns flea market with second-hand things.
