Kaknas Television Tower, Stockholm

(3.4/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
Standing 155 m (509 ft) tall, Kaknas Television Tower offers panoramic views of the city, the islands, the sea, and the forests. The tower is the hub for all television, radio, and satellite transmission in the capital city. Finished in 1967 and consisting of 72 pillars, it features both indoor and outdoor observation decks accessible via elevator. If you'd like to capture the views, find the keys available on the viewing platform to unlock the photography windows, so you can take pictures without the obstruction of the steel fence. Visit the cafe at the top for traditional Swedish cuisine. Pack a light jacket to ward off the wind.
