  • I really wanted to visit this huge arena after seeing her on television during the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016. For a great and important event such as the city of Stockholm had rightly proposed to use the stage of the Ericsson Globe. Eventually the show was so exciting and engaging than I thought I would stop by during my visit to the Swedish capital. It was worth it? In a way, Yes, but perhaps if we had not had a chance to climb atop the Globen Sky View in the capsule would have been a little disappointed. To be great, in fact, is very great: but not as much as I had imagined. Unfortunately in the pictures and on television, the proportions are somewhat exaggerated. Also, if you go when there's a big event scheduled, the surrounding area is quite deserted. You will only find other tourists who want to make the experience of Skyview or some guy come there to shop with one or two friends. But this is not to say that it is an attraction to jump completely! The skyview is really interesting and exciting, the nearby shops are cute and the Globen in itself is a true work of art.

  • An unique experience indeed! If you get a clear-sky weather, the panorama is remarkable! However, be aware that due to the limitation in the number of tourists per gondola, one would expect some long waiting times!
  • Great location, clean facilities and the fast food was delicious, however expensive. Only disadvantage was that it is a bit difficult to get out of the area which for a concert is not surprising. If you are not from the area, make sure you book a taxi in advance, the locals were cheaper than Uber as the rates increase for events.
  • Great venue for a concert with acoustics. The shape of the globe means there isn't a bad seat in the house.
  • Great venue for all events, potentially a fantastic view of the Swedish landscapes as well.
  • Really cool spherical concert hall hosting many large and mainstream events.

Where to stay in Stockholm

Glitzy Stockholm provides an abundance of high-end four-star hotels and international chains that come with a reputation of being pricey and feature a distinguished Scandinavian design. You can save yourself a little money by searching out the discounts these hotels often offer. If you're looking for something more affordable, consider the medium-priced hotels north of the Old Town. The least-expensive options lie near Central Station. Since offerings tend to be more affordable the farther you go from the city center, you'll serve yourself well to find a spot near public transport. Hostels in the city tend to fill up fast, so book online in advance. Many of hotels offer the
