  • This pedestrian street offers countless souvenir shops, houses of clothing brand, shopping malls, bars and restaurants. Ideal to go for a walk to calm and time. There are street shows sometimes. Very important the prices are crazy and vary from one place to another scandalously. He was one of the places I visited most. Sweden is not a country economic as for tourism.

  • One of the most popular streets and Stockholm's Drottninggatan (the ' Queen's road ') is the largest pedestrian street of the city. Its name is in honor of Queen Christina of Sweden, one of the most important figures of the European political scene in the 17th century. It's a bit strange to think that a road destined almost exclusively luxurious shopping and walking from one store to another has been christened with the name of a ruler known for his love of art, science, culture and philosophy. A Queen completely outside the box of the time and that certainly deserves to be remembered and celebrated, even somewhat paradoxical ways like this. Drottinggatan is infamous for several terrorist attacks in recent years, but it is also a place rich in charm and history. Nordic and Swedish literature lovers will know that August Strindberg spent the last years of his life. Without doubt worth the drive, at least for a small stretch.
