  • The garden is good for what it is, and then I have really only seen inside (in the greenhouse)-where they have flora from around the world and some text about every spice/plant etc. Very nicely and the cafe/restaurant next door is very charming and helpful. Visitors do probably most correct to go there in the summer.

  • We visited the gardens during autumn times and enjoyed every second of it's beautiful, colorful autumn display. The gardens are located in the outskirts of Stockholm, near the natural history museum. ...  more »
  • I hadn't been here in about 15 years. Saw an ad for the Christmas display so decided to spend the 80 kronor and visit. Always enjoyable. Quite a few school groups - hence a bit noisier than I might ha...  more »

  • One of my favorite spots in Stockholm. The botanic garden is quite small but it's really nice in all seasons and the view be the water is very pretty. The cafe, Gamla Orangeriet, is absolutely amazing. In winter you can enjoy a nice cup of tea in the greenhouse and in the summer you can sit outside under the umbrellas, eating a super tasty sallad, sandwich or one of their amazing cakes. The cafe is pretty expensive, but the atmosphere is amazing, staff super nice, and the food very tasty. It's worth the money considering the fact that the entry to the botanic garden is free. During the spring and summer time there is always a group of barnacle geese with their goslings to be seen around, not to mention other birds such as swans, canada geese or grebes. Great place for birdwatchers and plant enthusiasts.
  • Now in the Spring and Summer the Bergianska Trädgarden is one of the most beautiful parks in the city, it's full of life and amazing colours. You can get the T-bana to Stockholm University and walk to the garden easily.
  • Lovely flowers and plants. Very nice café at "gamla orangeriet".
  • A nice place to visit specially during the summers. Be aware of the migratory geese here as they can sometimes attack
  • A nice botanical garden to visit all year round. A great cafe in the old greenhouse. Don't miss the small greenhouse with the water lillies!
