The site depicts Swedish history from the 16th century onwards, including the modern state of neutrality, and includes an impressive collection of artifacts amassed by Swedish soldiers during war, such as flags, banners, and musical instruments. • Good museum with much to give if you have someone who is particularly interested in the arm or the military, it becomes especially interesting when they tell what they know. Also interesting to walk around in the World War II section.

  • This museum is a fine mean of finding an interesting piece of northern history. The set-up is impressive.
  • We were pleasantly surprised by the breadth of the Museum not just saber rattling, but also a place for people that are in all wars and other woes

  • I absolutely loved the army museum, not only is it free which is always good it also cover mainly on the top floor an very interesting part of Swedish history. The museums top floor looks at the history of Swedish conquests and wars up until just before WW1. I found this amazingly interesting as a lot of this was history that isn't very well covered in the rest of Europe. The Museum does a great job of immersing you in the story of Sweden as a young state and both me and my girlfriend were engrossed. A must see in Stockholm.
  • Many exhibits, a must see for anybody interested in militaria or Swedish history in general. Or if you just want to see a lot of old cannons.
  • Fantastic place if you like military and history. 3 levels of free exhibitions will take you from the past to the present military technology, and there are many things that you can touch or use.
  • It's free to enter and learn some history!
  • Really cool museum, quite big and lot of timeless exhibitions. Its admission free in 2016, all text is in English and Swedish and the staff is very helpful. Beware that its not for the fainthearted, there is slightly goreish in the exhibitions. It's war museum after all. Wifi password is warandpeace.
