  • Bullet point version: - It's free - Open in winter also and many houses and buildings that you can enter - Great for those interested in history. Seeing old schoolhouses, how people lived in late 19th...  more »
  • A nice place for the whole family! Rural setting with animals and old buildings. There is also a café, but your own picnic basket is not wrong, then there are tables/benches around the pleasant forest environment.

  • Bring a little picnic in the summer and let the kids wander around among goats, sheep, pigs, chickens and rabbits.

  • Skansen of the south, cheap or free parking, free to enter most days, perfect for a half-day family outing
  • A great place to take the kids. Loads of animals to see and pony riding, lots of space to run around and tables for picnics or a quick fika. The on site bakery is a must, especially if you can catch them early and have freshly baked cakes! The museum side has craft shops and a cafe. There is information outside many of the buildings letting you know their history or you can just have a relaxing walk around and look out over södertälje. My favourite place to visit in Södertälje.
  • Like a small Skansen, but actually a bit better. Lots of things to do. More focused than Skansen, which feels old (in the bad sense) and lackluster in comparison.
  • Excellent outdoor museum. child-friendly
  • Really nice place where you can experience a piece of Swedish history, how people lived at one time. In addition, you get to see and pet all the cute animals.
