  • Wow! Big and powerful Church, nice to go in and feel the serenity, no matter if you are a believer or not. Cool and comfortable after a hot day out there. Don't forget to look at the pictures at the front of the Church.

  • In a number of Churches (which are operated and maintained by the Swedish Church), I have in recent years seen attempts to activate and interest young children when they visit a sight like this. But never have I seen such a good example of how to do this in this church. And what I learned through life, it is so that it works for children also can easily get adults. Here are short, simple texts that explain, ask and claims. The sights that can be found in the Church is also easier, descriptive texts that quickly catches your attention and your interest. It is not just a "Oh, what big" or "so beautiful" but also an "aha, that I didn't know" or "no, I do not agree". A church in an educational way engages the visitor even on the intellectual level. The Church then? Well, it is reminiscent of the Cathedral in Lund in his magnificent uncluttered simplicity. It is very well maintained and very nice to look at. "well worth a visit if you are passing Crowd.

  • Interesting. Very old history. The city is the 1000 year. Sweden's cradle is here in Skaraborg. Remember that the crowd was asked once to place the main line through the city. But the Crowd said no. Then it became skövde instead. The story had certainly been different if crowd said yes ...
