  • Cannot recommend Christmas at Wenngarns Castle. There was not very much different dishes to choose from and it got crowded when everyone would get food at roughly the same time. Sat in a room where the waiters ran back and forth to fetch the booze! Here we go not more times!

  • The castle is not directly in Sigtuna, is but easy to reach by bus from Knivsta, and Sigtuna out. Especially great is that the Castle, the Café and the restaurant have opened all year round. You can visit daily free of charge the castle during the opening hours as a result. Signs give information in English and Swedish. All rooms are lovingly prepared and very worth seeing. The café in the basement is worth a visit in any case and the pizzeria is really good!

  • Was hungry for a little excursion during the weekend and search on Google showed that Just have cake buffet on Saturdays. Glad I laughed Just sets his sights on from Uppsala. Wandering around in the area and is the bread (very tasty!) from the bakery before I continue into the castle to munch. The cafeteria is in the basement and the Interior is bleak and there are barely any heat. I can not see any cake buffet and when I ask the waitress informs her that it is not available anymore, although it still appears on the home page. Decides to take a soup (OK) for lunch, and during this time there will several guests and are asking for cookie buffet. Wandering around the Palace after lunch; the Church is amazing and should be marketed better but the rest of the castle is not in beautiful condition.

  • Newly built, or rather recently renovated Sports Hall. Super fresh.
