  • Very nice. Museum experiences inside and out. Cozy shop and good coffee. Real character at events. When the opportunity to buy coal buns. Restaurant with good food in the area.

  • Recommend this trip in jämtland environment. Genuine people with different life stories in "time". Staff very knowledgeable and "period". Great day in the history of the meet.

  • Amazing museum. It has a part inside with an audio guide where you can learn about the history and nature of the area. The most spectacular part is a set of viking wall carpets. It is presented in a very dramatic and exciting way. E.g. when I entered a small cinema and pressed a button, the lights went out, the doors closed and an introductory film played. There is also the part outside with houses, villages and areas from different time periods. If you visit in summer, there are many actors that pretend to be people from those times which is really cool.
  • World class museum
  • Nice, but I think the entry was free at midsummer so everyone can afford to celebrate together!

  • A very good museum, both indoors and outdoors. Visit the Christmas market is a must.

  • Cosy and nice to wander among the old buildings and animals grazing on the meadows. As for the country though it is in town.
