  • During our stay in February there was a lot of snow. The road trip to the park is already a whole experience. You can walk for hours without someone to see, nature is beautiful and with the frozen lakes is complete the picture. Unfortunately it was very foggy and there was a lot of snow and we could not free from hiking. Definitely worth to look again in the summer I think,

  • I was in the summer there, and it was beautiful. There are many different routes with different highlights. You can camp at advertised courses (there are also barbecue facilities and fire wood). Also there is to use small huts with beds and fireplace, which are open, and for all. I would here again and again!

  • One of Swedens most spectacular national parks! Wild forest, steep mountains diving in the sea, wonderful trails in forest, and some of them even accessible for wheelchairs! A must-do if you're in the...  more »

  • Beautiful hiking trails in a very compact area of the High Coast. Even in Summer I can't imagine running into too many other walkers. In 4 hours we saw 4-5 other people? Crazy when access from the motorway is so easy
  • One of the best hiking trails in Central Sweden. Mountain viewpoints are amazing. Try all three entrances - North, West and South.
  • It is beautiful. The paths are perfect marked so it is virtually impossible to get lost. The landscapes are simply astonishing.
  • Very nice park with exellent camping sites. Set up a basecamp then go explore the park.
  • Anazing place I spent there three nights and it was enough to see most of the park. The park is not very big but the views are amazing, sandy beaches, lakes in the forest and rocky hills. Tracks are marked well and there are plenty camping places and and some cabins to stay in. Would definetely go there again. Decent access with public transport, drops you out 8 km from the park in the visitor center.
