  • We covered this stretch of steep and rocky coast in August, arriving from Falun and headed to Lulea and then North to Kiruna, with destination Lofoten Islands. The views are superb and you have to take small breaks to enjoy it safely. We made a stop after the Regional, a bridge that passes over the Ångermannälven. Immediately after the bridge there is a rest area with bars, craft store, a big parking and a restaurant. From here depart also trails over the hill that dominates the Regional. Another stop is at Skeppsmalen, a picturesque fishing village. In the village there is the Fiskevistet fermented Baltic herring museum (the Museum of fermented Baltic herring). Just outside the village there is a lighthouse overlooking the sea. From the lighthouse are two circular nature trails with information about the flora and fauna and history of the region. A truly beautiful.

  • Beautiful area in Sweden with many different trails and cabins to stay long Enough in the stages and options. to follow the coastline/beaches or go more up on the mountain. Untouched nature! Also, try climbing the ranks at Skule visitors center. There are several different trails with different difficulty level so it works for everyone (almost)!
