  • We were at the children's arkeologidag and learned a ton! Bake bread, ride the Viking boat, visit the burial ground, and more! Successful day despite some rain:)

  • Me and my girlfriend was there and had a nice experience with culture, history, music, baking bread, and story-telling. The volunteers who work there are really nice people who keep the place open to the public entirely on a voluntary basis.

  • Great village. The inhabitants were so patient and told me happy hundratolfte time what they busied with. The children bake bread, make ullsaker, see glass bead making, blacksmith's work and runemaster in action. OK. The sausage was a bit tasteless but the kitchen had burned down. Please return again.

  • Enjoyed this place and learned a lot. Everyone was so nice and gave the tour in English when they learned that I was there!
  • We came across this place one day when they were unfortunately closed, but they still let us in to have a look around - for free. Will definitely come back when we have the chance.
  • Really interesting to get to the Viking Village. "The Vikings" is well prepared and feels very real. Hierarkisystemet is comparable to corporate cultures in today's society, basically no difference at all. Would love to see a talk that compares today's society with the Viking culture. Many parallels can be drawn.

  • Viking Village Storholmen is a fine destination for bar families. Here children learn about life in the Viking age and get to try on various activities, listen to exciting stories and much more. The people who run and lead the Viking is committed and knowledgeable and thus brings the story. Our children are 6 and 8 years old was completely satisfied with the visit.
