  • A very beautiful Cathedral in the heart of the old town. A visit of the district, which is located around the Cathedral, is worthwhile in any case. The Cathedral was also well attended and offered a free coffee.

  • A gorgeous edifice, located on the large and a high point in the city. Started construction on the 1500 's and was basically Cathedral. In 1646 moved the ecclesiastical Office to to Karlstad and 1696, it was determined that the Church in Mariestad was no longer a cathedral. But built is as impressive after this. Gorgeous inside and out, large window surfaces makes it light and welcoming in and out showing it as a well-maintained and impressive building. Worth to visit!
