  • We went walking around the Castle. Unfortunately, it was closed for the season but the surrounding area was completely beautiful!

  • A "must have" for anyone interested in history. And also very interesting for those who have at least a little interest in how Sweden has been seen out and about 500 have been governed in the last years. Portrait Gallery that also includes contemporary art is well worth a visit, no matter where it had been. Gustav III's theater is just one of many details that further enhance the pleasure of your visit. It could, however, be happy to been more signs in the different rooms with more information. This shortcoming is remedied in part about buying information booklet, which is recommended. Absolutely one of the most interesting Swedish castles to be visited.

  • Enthusiastic guides and knowledgeable and SAL's guards to be in here forever and still have plenty left over. History is present and palpable everywhere.

  • What a wonderful way to view history. I could get lost here for days
  • Best castle in the Stockholm area. Fantastic location on the water bordering a quaint little town.
  • Very nice castle with a fantastic location on the waterfront. The place is a template for Kurt Tucholsky's novel "Castle Gripsholm".
  • Unlike other Swedish royal castle it gives a little strange feeling and suprise that it is one since Vasa era.
  • Nice intrested castle need at least 1.5 hours if you not shall stress!
