St. Petri (St. Peter's Church), Malmo
(4.2/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
Marvel at the simplicity of St. Petri (St. Peter's Church), a large house of worship built in the Gothic style in 1319. The grand brick exterior is complete with a 105 m (344 ft) tower and surrounded by stone carvings. In contrast, the interior features simple white walls that enhance the ornate fixtures and altar. One section of the ceiling has been restored to the original painted mural. As the oldest building in the city, the church provides a haven for quiet retreat. An informational pamphlet is available at an additional cost. • Is the building more ancient of the city, although the tower is has rebuilt several times. With the influence of the churches in the North of Germany and an austere interior in white.

  • Very beautiful church of Gothic, but very white and bright air inside. Very well preserved, it is a corner where they have chairs and actividsades for children. In addition another corner where you can take a coffee free, thermos and cups available. In it more religious, I found curious a chapel baptismal old, with those images something appalling typical of the Bosco of beings monstrous. Also tombstones with images of death and the like. A chapel with a beautiful Virgin there is Mary and infant Jesus, for me unusual in reformist churches.

  • St. Petri kirke. (St. Peters church). It wasn't on the map, but I saw a sign to go in. The church itself is very plain and boring. But pay 25kr and get the key. The attendant opens a secret door and viola a mosoleum from the 1600s containing the bastards of the kings, prominent families and leaders of Denmark. Jackpot if you like funerary art and history
  • Muy bonita
  • Nice church
  • The church itself has nothing especial, but the statue about the death in the garden is totally worthy to check.
  • Cute little church
