St. Petri (St. Peter's Church), Malmo

(4.2/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web)
Marvel at the simplicity of St. Petri (St. Peter's Church), a large house of worship built in the Gothic style in 1319. The grand brick exterior is complete with a 105 m (344 ft) tower and surrounded by stone carvings. In contrast, the interior features simple white walls that enhance the ornate fixtures and altar. One section of the ceiling has been restored to the original painted mural. As the oldest building in the city, the church provides a haven for quiet retreat. An informational pamphlet is available at an additional cost. • A church that is outwardly beautiful but that inside is not worth too much soda for my taste

  • Very nice introduction. The Church is extremely suitable for concerts. However, it was very cold. Concert of choir Petri Singer began glowing with Christmas carols. The choir's own soloist is very good.

  • The architecture of this church is amazing, but once I came inside I was disappointed. it was poor and nothing special and it's a pity since it's one of the most popular attractions in Malmö.

  • St. Petri kirke. (St. Peters church). It wasn't on the map, but I saw a sign to go in. The church itself is very plain and boring. But pay 25kr and get the key. The attendant opens a secret door and viola a mosoleum from the 1600s containing the bastards of the kings, prominent families and leaders of Denmark. Jackpot if you like funerary art and history
  • Muy bonita
  • Nice church
  • The church itself has nothing especial, but the statue about the death in the garden is totally worthy to check.
  • Cute little church
