Oresund Bridge, Malmo

4.4
Spanning the distance between Copenhagen and Malmo, Oresund Bridge brings together the longest road and rail bridge in Europe. The structure stretches 8 km (5 mi) across the Oresund Strait, connecting Denmark and Sweden. Its construction began in 1995, and it has become a symbol of unity between nations since Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden celebrated its completion in 1999. Drive or take a train across the bridge for views of the waterway and coastlines. Plan to see Oresund Bridge and other attractions that appeal to you using our Malmo tour itinerary planner .

  • The best bridge in the world. I love it so much I go over it more than twice a month. Some people even go see it every day. It is so popular some politicians die to get the Malmö and Copenhagen police to work together.
  • If I could give it 10 stars, I would! It's the most unique bridge I've ever seen, and a must-see for anyone travelling between Copenhagen and Malmo.
  • One of the longest and prettiest bridges Ive ever crossed . There is even a nice spot on the side closer to Copenhagen where you can stop and take some nice photos
  • nice view, the toll by car is 50€ (april2017) to cross in one way, and 50€ for come back (the only have one way ticket), too mutch imo. Coming from Danimak to Sweden theres a sort of custom and they ask for ID, coming from Sweden theres no one. Enjoy
  • Stupid border control and annoying interrogations from customs going to Sweden. Often lines due to only a few lanes available, because of the I'd control. Super expensive to make it just perfect.
