Spanning the distance between Copenhagen and Malmo, Oresund Bridge brings together the longest road and rail bridge in Europe. The structure stretches 8 km (5 mi) across the Oresund Strait, connecting Denmark and Sweden. Its construction began in 1995, and it has become a symbol of unity between nations since Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden celebrated its completion in 1999. Drive or take a train across the bridge for views of the waterway and coastlines. La struttura è sicuramenete imponenete, unica, un mezzo miracolo di ingegneria. Però se devo dire che guido volentieri su questo ponte in mezzo al mare direi una fesseria.. le raffiche di vento, molto... read more »The structure is definitely unique, majestic, a miracle of engineering. But if I must say I willingly drive on this bridge in the middle of the sea I'd say nonsense ... the wind gusts, very often, they move literally the car giving a feeling bad driving. Absolutely not recommended distraction for wave-watching right and left ... the steering wheel should be held firmly, in my opinion, to avoid skids. Convenient and safe passage between Denmark and Sweden. Its relatively cheap and the fastest way to cross the Öresund. If you use the bridge more than two times a year think about getting a BroPas.
This unique bridge spans Malmo and Copenhagen, i. e. (Sweden and Denmark). It is really impressive, a true marvel of architecture and construction.
Beautiful incredible bridge linking Denmark (Copenhagen) to Sweden (Malmo) cities. The bridge goes under tunnels, over artificial islands and over large straights of sea.
Impressive structure, the design of which makes the drive across it scenic and interesting
The longest suspension bridge in the world. Wow, one minute you are on one country the next you are in a other. Worth a visit 😊
