Take a comprehensive tour through the history of Sweden, see works of art, wonders of nature and technology, and step inside a real submarine at Malmo Museer. Spread over several locations in and around Malmo Castle, the museum complex has one of the largest and most diverse collections of artifacts in the country. You can learn about local and national history, and see everything from toys and paintings, to Viking weaponry and nanotechnology. A fully preserved U3 U-boat, one of the highlights of the collection, allows you to experience the cramped conditions of a submariner's life. Numerous interactive displays provide fun for the kids. Have a drink or snack in the cafe inside the castle. One admission fee gives you access to all the museum's locations. • For 40 SEK in the entrance for me and free for kids so we got an enormous amount we think: only one part can be mentioned here. Aquarium/terrariedelen is new for a few years now and very nice. Large aquariums where you look good, though a bit of hassle with the plates where the text was found, all did not work. But great. A small dinosaur and urtidsdjursdel were also revamped. Found a splendid exhibition of animals ' colour and shape, where we had been able to spend more time. The temporary exhibition about Roma and the kids learned a lot and the historic part of the Castle, wars, plague and jail time was really exciting and scary ... The castle is full of stairs, small nooks and minirum, lots to discover. Just say gun turret! In a separate building a few 100 meters away is the technical museum with cars, airplanes, engines and the classic submarine. Restaurant Vega: well, Nice. Extra good that they had blykoll on milkless tt. Why not 5 stars: the fifth will then new exhibition is antiquity on site! Recommended with and without children!

  • Malmö Museum is in a castle called Malmöhus Slott. Inside the exhibits are extremely varied from textiles, weapons, armour, installations of paper cutting, photography exhibits, paintings from 1600-1950, natural history and even an aquarium.
  • As far as museums go, this one is pretty much a dud. The art collection is terribly boring. The aquarium is fine. But really, it's completely uninspiring.
  • Very nice and sometimes funny exhibitions. I can recomand it, you should visit it,If you are in Malmö
  • The collections are a bit randomly organized, but YOU CAN GO INSIDE A UBOAT and fiddle with the taps, switches levers, shouting things like "alarm" and then diving through the bulkhead hatches, you know, like in "das boot". For 40 Swedish.
  • Nice castle that they have made it. To a museum also have a aquarium down stairs as well as reptiles also another of history about the castle and fight between the danes and swedes
