Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web
Stroll below a romantic canopy of trees at Kungsparken, a sprawling 19th-century park. The 8.4 hectare (21 acre) site was inhabited until the 1660s but then cleared to make way for the neighboring military protection. In 1869-1870 the park was built, complete with a cast-iron fountain at the center, plus expansive flower beds, playgrounds, and a windmill. The verdant paths are home to 120 different species of trees, as well as local wildlife. Pack a snack or a picnic blanket for a relaxing retreat. • Malmö is a city full of wonderful parks to stroll in. The King's Park is one of the most central. An oasis in the Centre of Malmö in Malmö, appreciated by both residents and tourists. At one of the entrances is also the city's casino. Well worth a visit!
