HSB Turning Torso, Malmo
(3.8/5 based on 750+ reviews on the web)
Resembling the famous Cayan Tower in Dubai, HSB Turning Torso represents the tallest building in Scandanavia and dominates the skyline. Santiago Calatrava designed this futuristic skyscraper, which was completed in 2005, based on his renowned sculpture of a twisting human body. Only two floors are available for public viewing, so scheduling a tour can be a challenge. Photograph its famous figure and explore the architectural detail of the building. When you're finished, you can stroll through the neighborhood; most visitors take time to see the nearby farmers' market. Later you can use the tower as a reference point to navigate the city. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Malmo holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the HSB Turning Torso and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • A must see when visiting Malmö! Such an amazing sight. Love the architecture. There is a small park around the corner, and the other buildings nearby look beautiful as well! The ocean is a small walking distance away with an affordable restaurant in the area.
  • An amazing piece of architecture and definitely the building that represents Malmö. It's 192m tall which should allow for an amazing view of the city but unfortunately it's closed to public except during rare special events
  • This touwer can be seen by most part of the city of Malmo. It is very curious and interesting. A good fit for the modern-old mixing the is Malmo architecture.
  • Impressive architecture, especially taking into account the numberless of issues in other buildings designed by Calatrava. Fortunately, the Turning Torso looks great!
  • This tall iconic building is the center of attention in Malmo so majestic and beautiful one can not resist going to visit it and acknowledge it presence let alone beauty. Making it even to stand out is the fact that it is the only tall buildings in the midst of buildings that only extend to about three or four story. It also situated in a very good position near the beach and the some touristic attractions as it is a tourist attraction on it own right.
