HSB Turning Torso, Malmo
Categories: Architectural Buildings, Tourist Spots
Resembling the famous Cayan Tower in Dubai, HSB Turning Torso represents the tallest building in Scandanavia and dominates the skyline. Santiago Calatrava designed this futuristic skyscraper, which was completed in 2005, based on his renowned sculpture of a twisting human body. Only two floors are available for public viewing, so scheduling a tour can be a challenge. Photograph its famous figure and explore the architectural detail of the building. When you're finished, you can stroll through the neighborhood; most visitors take time to see the nearby farmers' market. Later you can use the tower as a reference point to navigate the city. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Malmo holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the HSB Turning Torso and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

Incredible wonder of Engineering. Modern building by famous Spanish architect , engineer Santiago Calatrava. A must see if you visit Malmo
Turning Torso is a wonderful engineering building. Yes, what you see is the architecture, no question on that. It could be better if visitors had the option of visiting inside up to the top of the tower. There is a nice public playground nearby, if you have some time bring the kids and have fun.
just big ... building. not beautiful to me
Saw this Iconic tower block with a distinctive twisted shell as part of my tour round the city.
Incredible building. For everyone who likes architecture this is a must see. This and the newer version in Dubai.
